Samsung Galaxy Tab 3D

3D Technology is growing everyday by leaps and bounds.  The most prominent is the evolution of the 3D television.  These televisions still require the user to wear glasses to see the depth of the image, but the glasses technology is growing as well.  Next, Sprint unveiled its' new flagship cell phone, the HTC Evo 3D which does not require the user to wear glasses to see the screen.

This new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3D utilizes the latest 3D technology to optimize it’s new Android OS, “Ice Cream Sandwich”.  The tab also comes with an HD 3D camera, Bluetooth, and 3 HD speakers.  The Tab can also be viewed on 3D televisions by using an HDMI cord.

Is this the new age of 3D?  Would you spend extra money for a 3D screen over a traditional screen?  How long will this “trend” last?

  1. Personally, I hate the glasses, so I think that it would be interesting to see the glasses technology grow more. Hopefully they can get the tv's to not require the use of glasses.

  2. I just wonder what this would look like? Maybe I need to go to the store to actually experience it to really understand.
Sounds cool, but I think the '3D' technology is kind of a waste... Yeah, it's cool, but I don't think there's a purpose for the average tablet user. If you're watching a movie it makes more sense, but I don't want to see internet in 3D?

  3. I am not really all that interested in seeing the internet in 3d either. I would say more for movies or video games perhaps? I think up to this point the glasses are kind of a hassle and I think they will become obsolete as technology improves.
